Refunds, cancellations & rescheduling

Scope

These terms apply to professional engagements described on this site — vendor risk review, payment verification, accounts payable walkthroughs, and new-supplier onboarding checks. This site does not sell physical goods or software subscriptions.

Deposits

Fee letters may require a deposit (often 30–50%) to reserve start dates and reviewer time. Deposits are applied against the final fee. Deposit refundability depends on notice timing below.

Cancellation by the client

• More than 10 business days before the agreed start date: full refund of amounts paid, minus any documented third-party translation costs already incurred with your approval.
• 5–10 business days before start: 50% of the deposit may be retained for reserved capacity; remaining amounts paid are refunded.
• Fewer than 5 business days or after document gathering has begun: deposit is non-refundable; work completed to date is invoiced at the agreed rate and is non-refundable.

Rescheduling

You may reschedule once without fee if you give at least 5 business days’ notice and a new date within 60 days is agreed. Later or repeated reschedules may incur a rescheduling charge stated in the fee letter.

No-shows

For scheduled walkthrough sessions, failure to attend without 24 hours’ notice forfeits the session fee. We will offer one courtesy rebooking when illness or transport disruption is communicated the same day.

Work already started

Once we have begun reviewing documents or conducting on-site sessions, fees for completed stages are due. Unused stages may be cancelled under the notice rules above; partial refunds reflect only unused future stages, not a flat percentage of the whole engagement.

Purchased materials

If you approve external translation or certified document retrieval, those costs are non-refundable once ordered.

Refund process & timing

Email hello@cloudinno.digital with your engagement reference and reason. Approved refunds are processed within 14 business days to the original payment method where possible, or by bank transfer to an account you nominate in writing.

Our cancellations

If we must cancel due to reviewer unavailability and cannot offer a suitable substitute or date, you receive a full refund of amounts paid for undelivered work.

Exceptions

Statutory rights that cannot be waived under Taiwan law remain available. Engagement letters may set stricter or more specific terms for a particular matter; where they conflict with this page, the signed letter controls for that engagement.
